The staff and residents of the Vinton Lutheran Home enjoyed a “Cook Off” this week at VLH. Assistant DON-Pam Parmater, Billing Coordinator- Jackie Bear, and Marketing Director- Justin Ealy were the cook-off contestants. VLH residents chose 5 ingredients that the contestants HAD to use in their dish. The contestants had no idea what those ingredients were until the timer started. They then had 30 minutes to complete a meal or a dish including, but not limited to, all ingredients. A judging panel decided who the winner was based on the best dish. In case you can’t tell Jackie Bear (red apron) was the winner 😉 A wonderful time was had by all!
