“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Romans 10:17

The spiritual lives of our residents have been recognized as one of the most important aspects of living in our Lutheran Home facilities. We have been blessed with a separate designated Chapel to worship. The Chaplain has a very special and unique relationship with each resident.

Our Chaplaincy program is more than a Sunday worship service, the Word of God is heard daily. Our Chaplaincy program is designed to support the spiritual lives of the residents, their families and staff.

The Chaplain offers regular worship services, Bible Study, Prayer and individual visits as well as counseling, family support and memorial services. It is not our intention to replace a resident’s own church or pastoral relationship but to enhance this relationship. The Chaplain respects the individual’s privacy and recognizes their expressions of faith and traditions.

All other clergy are also welcome to serve their members within the Lutheran Home.  We have many residents’ home pastors, priests, etc who visit their members regularly.
