“Declare His glory among nations, His wonders among all peoples” ~Psalms 96:3
~Thank you so much for the tender loving care you gave to Alberta. Over the last 2 1/2 years, she felt very safe and loved with all of you and made so many new friends.
She truly loved the Davenport Lutheran Home! God is good!!
Love, the family of Alberta Wood
~We want to thank you for the delicious supper you had for the Resident/Family Christmas party. Everything was decorated so nicely and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were there for Betty Stebens-Lake and we had a wonderful time! The staff did an excellent job!
~Thank you for the excellent, loving care my parents received in your facility. I’ve loved everyone there, and will truly miss the many friends we made. Dad is doing remarkably well. Please let his nurses know.
Anne Olson- daughter of Bruce and Jane Headlee (previous Davenport Lutheran Home Residents).
~Thank you for the Davenport Lutheran Home experience and all of the caring people that we encountered while we were there. I shed a few tears when I left there. You all did so much for my wife Jane while she was alive, and for me when I was a resident there. Jane and I will be buried together on the Arsenal Island when the time comes. My and my family’s love to you and nurses Tammie and Brandy. Our love to all of you!
Bruce Headalee (Previous Davenport Lutheran Home Resident)
~Words alone cannot express the care given to Doris and such a family feeling of home. Thank you for the peace lily and the prayers and visits from the Davenport Lutheran Home Staff.
~To the Davenport Lutheran Home Staff,
Thank you for all you did for our mother in providing her care. She truly considered the Lutheran Home her “home”. She always told me “If I have to be somewhere, I’m glad it’s here. They are so good to me.”
Once again we are grateful for all you did.

~Dear Friends of Davenport Lutheran Home,
It was meant to be that I came here to this facility. I have appreciated all the care and love you give to us, your residents, each day.
Everyone from the top leader to the “pot” cleaners, to the kitchen staff, the therapy crew, the ones who volunteer for the great activities you provide–please accept my sincerest “Thank You.”
Thank you for allowing me to get to play the beautiful piano, and encouraging me when my “down days” were drowning me.
I thank God each day that this was my place to mend. He always knows what is right.
You treat everyone with respect. Being known by name and not a number makes us feel like a part of a family.
Family is what you have been to me.
Thank you for everything and for going out of your way for me.
Love in the Lord, always–
