“My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
Psalm 84:5
Lutheran Home Health Agency
The Lutheran Home Health Agency’s overall goal is to help clients regain or retain their ability to live safely in their own home. We provide services ranging from telephone checks, housekeeping to Skilled (Medicare) services.
The Lutheran Home Health Agency is Medicare certified. In addition, Medicaid and Waiver programs are also accepted. We additionally serve clients with approved insurance plans, VA benefits and private pay. Services will be provided to patients who live within 35 miles of Vinton.
What does Skilled (Medicare) services mean? It allows our Home Health Agency to provide nursing, physical, occupational & speech therapies along with bathing assistance. These services are billed to Medicare or Medicaid. It should be noted, Medicare Part A covers 100% of Home Health services for qualifying participants.
How does this work? If the client is participating in Medicare or Medicaid, a physician prescribes Home Health care services if the client meets all guidelines.
